HP Inc posts fourth straight rise in quarterly revenue

(Reuters) - HP Inc, which houses the hardware business of former Hewlett-Packard Co, reported a fourth straight rise in quarterly revenue, helped by higher demand for its personal computers.

The company said revenue rose 10 percent to $13.1 billion in the third quarter ended July 31, from $11.89 billion a year earlier.

However, net earnings from continuing operations fell to $696 million, or 41 cents per share, in the quarter, from $843 million, or 49 cents per share, a year earlier.
