Elliott Management takes 8.1 percent stake in Mentor Graphics

(Reuters) – Activist hedge fund Elliott Management said it picked up an 8.1 percent stake in electronics hardware supplier Mentor Graphics Corp , a few months after Carl Icahn exited the company.
