WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. has opened a probe into alleged coordination by AT&T Inc , Verizon Communications , a telecommunications standards organization and potentially other providers to hinder consumers from easily switching wireless carriers, a person briefed on the matter said on Friday.
